Frankfurt/San Francisco - Romantik Hotels & Restaurants are excited about their expanded presence in the European Guides by the well-known U.S. travel guide author Karen Brown. This was announced by Inge Struckmeier, Managing Director of Romantik, in Frankfurt. The best basis for including an increasing number of Romantik Hotels is the fact that the enterprises precisely meet the quality terms of the Karen Brown Guides. „The personal commitment of a hotelier, an evolved history, individuality and heartfelt, vivid hospitality are just as much a part as good cuisine and a lovingly designed ambience”, says Inge Struckmeier. „And it is precisely based on these criteria that the publishing house selected various accommodations in Germany, Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland, which will be published in the Guides in 2008.”
The books by Karen Brown are considered ideal guidebooks for travelers looking for hotels with individual charm and a high demand for quality. The main sales territories of the 17 Guides, which worldwide have a circulation of 2.5 million pieces, are the U.S. and British markets. The personally researched Guides, however, are also becoming increasingly popular in other countries.
Among the published accommodations is also the Romantik Hotel Spielweg in Münstertal. The hostess Sabine Fuchs is excited: „I have a tremendous appreciation for Karen Brown and I was thrilled to meet her again on the occasion of the 35-year Romantik anniversary gala in Berlin.” This is also true for many other Romantik hoteliers, who maintain personal relations - some of which developed over many years - with Karen Brown.
The 194 Romantik Hotels in twelve European countries are a multifaceted mixture of historically evolved accommodations with hideaway character: Country cottages and hotels in the city, fortresses and castles, hotels in the mountains and on lakes, conference hotels and certified Wellness hotels. They embody the regions in which they are located, offer a hospitable atmosphere, indulging ambience and represent a stylish way of life.
